"Surrender is the only thing left for us" a text by Lieutenant P van de Boom, at the place (stop line) where Dutch forces finished the battle on the Grebbeberg with surrender to the enemy.

A little further in the forest is a rebuilt Dutch trench, part of the defensive line on the Grebbeberg.
