On June 13, 2015, a long-cherished wish of Scouting Netherlands was fulfilled. Queen Maxima opened the newly constructed Scouting Estate Zeewolde as patroness of Scouting Netherlands.
A special place in the Horsterwold where boys and girls can experience challenging outdoor activities. Scouting estate Zeewolde is also a meeting place in the Netherlands for scouts from home and abroad during international Scouting activities.
From the dike there is a good view of this no less than 40ha large site. In time, this will become the national center of Scouting Netherlands.
