Hazeldonk of Meer is an important border crossing between the Netherlands and Belgium. Here, the Dutch A16 merges into the Belgian A1/E19. The E19 also follows this route; on the Belgian side, this is the primary name of the highway. Since 1997, the former municipality of Hazeldonk has been part of the municipality of Zundert, but the border crossing and the adjacent industrial area have instead been transferred to Breda. On the Dutch side of the border crossing lies the service area of the same name, Hazeldonk.
