The City Hall of Bergen op Zoom is a town hall on the Grote Markt in Bergen op Zoom. It has a landing and red and white shutters. The building is open to the public and functions as a wedding location.
The town hall actually consists of three buildings. The building on the left with the gate, 'the Oliphant'. The actual town hall, 'the aldermen's house' in the middle. And the building on the right, 'Leeuwenborgh'. The actual town hall, 'the aldermen's house', is already 600 years old and built between 1398 and 1403. The building that stood before it was probably also the town hall, but this was lost in the city fire of 1397.
