The Friars Minor or Franciscan Monastery 'Assisi aan de Maas' is a monastery of Franciscans in Megen that was founded in 1648. It is dedicated to Saint Anthony of Padua.Na the capitulation of 's-Hertogenbosch in 1629, the monks had to leave the city. The Friars Minor moved to Megen, where religious freedom reigned. The monastery was built from 1648-1653 and the chapel was completed in 1670.
