De Vecht is a small village in the municipality of Voorst, in the Dutch province of Gelderland. De Vecht has about 180 inhabitants and is located on the Grote Wetering, halfway between Apeldoorn and Terwolde, in an agricultural area.
The village has two churches, a café, an equestrian center, and a monumental farm called Avervoorde. Near this farm, which is a remnant of a 17th-century manor, to the north, there is a hail cross from 1570.
