The Entrepothaven is a marina in Rotterdam. Originally, it was a transshipment port. At the end of the nineteenth century, a number of new ports were excavated in Feijenoord due to the strong increase in trade. The Entrepothaven and the Binnenhaven were realized together with the Entrepot building and the Port building by the trading company of Lodewijk Pincoffs: the Rotterdam Trading Association. The Entrepot building 'The Five Continents' dates from 1879 and housed warehouses that were used for the storage of coffee, tea, sugar, and spices. It now consists of luxury apartments, restaurants, shops, and a global supermarket, the ports have become a marina, City Marina Rotterdam. Trade has shifted to the west, to the Botlek and Maasvlakte.
