Description

The Zevenhuizer Verlaat is a lock between the Rottemeren and the Hennipsloot, which in turn connects to the Ringvaart of the Zuidplaspolder. The lock provides a waterway from Rotterdam inside over the Ringvaart to Gouda. The lock used to be known as the Zevenhuizensche or Nieuwe Verlaat.

The walking path along the Zevenhuizensche Verlaat has limited access by means of a lockable fence.
