Slot Capelle, or Castle Capelle, was a stone fortification located in Capelle aan den IJssel. The castle was demolished in a state of disrepair in 1798, and the only remnants are the castle moats at the intersection of Slotlaan, Slotplein, and Merellaan, as well as the so-called prisoners' or thieves' house located at Nieuwe Laan 11. The Slotlaan metro station can also be found in the immediate vicinity.
