Nieuw Werklust is a former clay goods factory in the hamlet of Groenendijk at Rijndijk 14 - 18 in the Dutch town of Hazerswoude-Rijndijk, which was in use until 2001 under the name Kleiwarenfabriek "Nieuw Werklust" B.V. Due to the proximity of all necessary raw materials, such as clay, sand and peat, in combination with the good accessibility by water, Several tile and brick factories were established along the Old Rhine. The clay goods factory "Nieuw Werklust" was founded in the 17th century, probably around 1675. The factory mainly produced roof tiles and flower and chimney pots.
