The Grote Merwedesluis Gorinchem is a lock between the Merwede canal and the Merwede, in Gorinchem in the Dutch province of South Holland. The waterway is CEMT class IV.De lock has a bulkhead of 120 m length, width 12 m, gully width 24 m, depth outside threshold NAP -3.20 m, depth inner threshold KP -4 m. Over the inner head is the Korte bridge, a drawbridge, height in closed position KP +1.90 m. and the High bridge over the outer head. This is a swing bridge, which is moved by means of two double-acting hydraulic cylinders in the bridge cellar in the outer head. Height in closed position NAP +4.50 m.
