The Maasvlaktestrand or Slufterstrand is a wide sandy beach on the Maasvlakte that was created in 1987 along the Slufter, a large-scale depot for the disposal of dredged materials.
The beach is popular among water sports enthusiasts, who can use it throughout the year. Dogs are also allowed all year round. Furthermore, it is also a nude beach.
