The Caland Bridge is a steel lift bridge over the Caland Canal in the Dutch industrial area of Rotterdam Europoort. The clearance of the lift bridge is 50 meters high and 60 meters wide. The Caland Bridge was officially opened on June 6, 1969, by then State Secretary for Transport and Water Management Mike Keyzer. The bridge has 2x2 lanes, two former freight tracks, a sidewalk, and a bike path. The freight tracks on the bridge were part of the port railway line in Rotterdam and the Betuwe Route until November 2021. The roadway is part of the National Highway 15. Until 2004, through traffic also used the Caland Bridge, as the Thomassen Tunnel was opened for through traffic that year.
