The Arboretum-Heempark Delft is located in the nature and recreation area Delftse Hout in the municipality of Delft, in the Dutch province of South Holland. The park was established starting in 1966.
The Arboretum-Heempark is a combination of an arboretum and a nature garden. The establishment was intended by the city council as compensation for the then urban expansion. In the late 1960s, they wanted to create a refuge for displaced plants and animals. And to give the city residents the opportunity to learn about nature and nature conservation through the park.
