Hoenderstraat 2, Margraten
This building served as the town hall of the municipality of Margraten between 1954 and 1985. The building now serves as the head office of accountancy firm Euregio HabetsRoyen.
The old municipality of Margraten before the municipal reorganization in 1982 consisted of the church village of Margraten and the hamlets of Groot Welsden, Klein Welsden, 't Rooth and Termaar. After the municipal reorganization of 1982, the former municipalities of Cadier en Keer, Noorbeek, Mheer and Sint Geertruid were added. The church village of Scheulder was also added to the municipality of Margraten, which was part of the municipality of Wijlre until 1982.
