The Mission House Our Lady of Lourdes is a former monastery in the hamlet of Berg in the southern Limburg village of Cadier en Keer, located on Rijksweg no. 15. The complex consists of various national monuments, including the remains of a Roman villa.
The monastery was founded by the Society for African Missions in 1891. The fathers came from Lyon. They were forced to leave France when the regime devised an anti-Catholic secularization policy. Originally, a mission college and a minor seminary were established here, but later other components were added to Berg. Eventually, the complex became the main headquarters of the Dutch congregation.
