In the valleys of the Duivelsberg, small streams flow. They carry the spring water from the ridge to the Waal. Here, the walking path crosses a stream with a small bridge. Also take a look at the water artwork located across the road. Bureau van den Eerenbeemt advised the municipality of Beek-Ubbergen to make water flows visible again in and around the villages through the project Water Works. Beek has historically been known for the clean water of these streams. There were various laundries established for the citizens of Nijmegen. The artwork is inspired by a number of washing basins from these laundries.
