Kerenshof, Voerenstraat 4 Caestert (Eijsden)
When we have passed the tunnel under the NS track, we see a beautiful farm on the right. It concerns Kerenshof. The living area was rebuilt in 1720 (see cornice) by order of Hendrik van Dompselaer and Cornelia Stassen. In the tympanum is the alliance coat of arms of this couple, on the right an anchor cross (Van Dompselaer), on the left two swans on a wavy crossbar (Stassen). The farm takes its name from the Kerens family who became owners in 1743.
Nowadays, the monumental farm Manege Kerenshof is located.
