Christinakerk, Vroenhof Eijsden
The oldest parts of St. Christina's Church date back to the 14th century. The church was used simultaneously (simultaneously) by various church groups (Catholics, Protestants, Lutherans). The church has experienced several fires and was extensively rebuilt in 1851. In 1857 the simultaneous use by the various church groups came to an end. The church consists of a three-aisled nave, a choir with access to the sacristy and a tower. The tower is only accessible from the church. The tower is built of marl blocks, the outer walls of the aisles are made of brick and built on a bluestone plinth. The tower was restored in 1896. In the period 2000-2003, the entire church underwent such a restoration. Near the church is a walled cemetery. A clock dating from the early 1600s is displayed in the church.
