At number 46 stands the villa that Hamdorff built for Mrs. Beels-Schimelpenninck in 1934-1935. The house is currently difficult to see due to overgrowth. Originally, the house was named 'De Wijdte', and it is now called 'Larenduin'. In 1934, Hamdorff first made use of the shed roof. This is probably the earliest example. By using the shed roof, Hamdorff hoped to achieve the best possible light penetration. Under this roof, the façade retreats, creating the idea of a loggia. The corbels have thus become striking elements. The other part of the house has a gable roof. The tiles are blue/green in color. In the rear facade, Hamdorff added a semi-circular window and a semi-circular door to provide a counterbalance to the clean lines of the roof. The famous master forger Han van Meegeren lived in the building. The house is a municipal monument.
