Behind the church is the R.C. Cemetery. This cemetery was inaugurated in 1827. It was built under the direction of pastor Theodorus van Dijk. Pastor Van Dijk died on August 7, 1841. He was succeeded by pastor Wilhelmus de Beer. Pastor De Beer, among others, is buried in this cemetery. This is the oldest surviving grave. Jan Heinen is also buried here, better known in Eemnes as "Snotje". Jan was born in Huizen but spent his life in Eemnes. He was not a Catholic, but his express wish was to be buried in the Roman Catholic cemetery, for which permission was given.
