The Copper Mill Vaals is a Center for Art and Culture, located in the former Evangelical Lutheran church, which was built in 1736/1737 by Protestants from Aachen, modeled after the Aachen Cathedral.
Now called the copper mill. The name of the building is derived from an earlier copper mill, which had to make way for this Lutheran church. The mill was powered by the hydraulic force of the (now underground) stream 'the Gau'.
The Foundation offers a program of concerts and exhibitions.
