The beautifully situated Epermolen, or Wingbergermolen, was built in 1884 as a grain mill. This national monument is still in regular use. In earlier times, the mill was used for grinding fodder, grain and as a dynamo. The water power of the Geul provides the propulsion of the Epermolen, one of the twelve successive, protected watermills on the Geul.
