Description

On the edge of the Vijlenerbos, at an altitude of approximately 160 to 180 meters above sea level, towers the hamlet of Camerig. It is the place to be for an overwhelming view over the Geul valley, the eastern Ardennes and the north of the Eifel. The landscape around Camerig was awarded five stars by the Nature and Environment Foundation. Camerig is also a good location to admire beautiful, 18th-century half-timbered houses.
