The Sint-Laurentiuskerk is a former Roman Catholic church at Herengracht 16 in Weesp. The building is a municipal monument in which the Wispe Brewery and associated catering company are now located. The Grote Kerk of Weesp was originally also dedicated to Saint Lawrence and Mary Magdalene, but passed to the Protestants after the Reformation. The Catholics of Weesp then used hidden churches. For example, in 1792 a new church was built on the Herengracht after a design by Andries Schouten, which was only recognizable as a church from the inside. This building was in use until 1874.
