This ochre-yellow castle near the Geul is a pearl in the green landscape. It is built in neoclassical style and its symmetry makes it a stately whole.
The U-shaped building has a beautiful view on the side of the Geul
courtyard, the Cour d'Honneur, whose entrance gates are flanked by pillars on which stone lions stand. On the other side of the building are freely accessible gardens in Baroque style.
The history of this castle dates back to the second half of the sixteenth century, but its current appearance (and probably also its striking color) dates back to 1836.
