Description

During his work in rural Huijbergen, pastor Machielse experienced the landscape here as too wide and open. On his initiative, a crucifix was built. The consecration took place in 1934. In 1967 a new crucifix was made, which was given its current location in 1980 with the addition of conifers and a wall. The crucifix has remained a landmark in the contemporary landscape.
