The Nulland Shaft belonged to the former Domaniale Mine in Kerkrade and since 2006 it has been a branch of the Discovery Center Continium. Former miners from the Domaniale Mine founded the 'Koempels van de Domaniale' Foundation and have restored and furnished the shaft as a museum. In the Year of the Mines 2015, attention is drawn to 200 years of Domaniale Mine.
