The brewery Het Wit Anker was founded in 1780 and ceased operations in 1901 (active for 121 years)
The building was constructed in 1780 (Residential house with '''Brewery Het Wit Anker''').
Some of the brewers were in succession: 1843: A.A. van de Burgh; 1848: J.A. van Aken; 1863: W. Ebeling; 1874-1885: J. Verfürth & co and the last brewer was from 1889-1901: N. van Mierlo.
House "Den Anker" former brewery. Façade from around 1780 with door and gate moldings, doors with rich transoms, cornice with consoles and festoons. Plastered staircase, carved stair balustrade. The front still has the form of a residential house, expanded at the back with a modern office,
The building was listed as a monument in 1966.
