Description

The Bosquet of Rolduc Abbey is a park-like hillside forest around this centuries-old abbey. There are some beautiful ponds in the forest. The name of this forest dates back to the time of the French occupation. Nowadays, the forest is also called the 'Devil's Forest', because of the steep slopes.

Rolduc Abbey is the largest and oldest preserved abbey complex in the Netherlands. Its history dates back more than 900 years. Today, Rolduc is used as a hotel and conference centre. In Kloosterbrasserie De Kanunnik you can enjoy a snack and a drink. In the summer months, the terrace on the inner square is open every afternoon. The beautiful church and crypt of Rolduc can be visited daily.
