This swampy piece of nature of the Dragonfly Valley is teeming with life. Due to its location in relation to the North Sea and the presence of salt-loving plants and fresh groundwater, this is a special piece of nature.
The name Dragonfly Valley is no exaggeration: dragonflies skim everywhere through the air and over the water. For example, you can find the large imperial libel, the common shore libel, the flat-bellied, the four-spot, the horse biter and the azure damselfly. But the scallop butterfly – after all, his beloved jacob's crosswort is nearby – also shows itself here.
