Bronze on a polished natural stone column. The first version of the statue was made in polyester.

Commissioned by the Protestant Home Association in West Zeeuwsch-Vlaanderen on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of that organization in 1978.
The statue was unveiled on November 22, 1978. In 1998 it disappeared during a renovation. The replacement statue was unveiled on 14 December 2001 by H. Elenbaas, member of the board of Rozenoord.
