B&B The Barnyard

Our B&B in Drenthe has a hospitable atmosphere of personal service and attention to the guest. A nice place to relax with modern, comfortable rooms with private entrance and private bathroom. The original trusses, the different accent colours and warm fabrics give each room an individual character. Each room has its own breakfast table in the room or in the common area and coffee & tea facilities, crockery & cutlery and a combi microwave. Breakfast and dinner together for friends or family is of course also possible. The nearby Westerbork offers a wide choice of restaurants and the monumental village of Orvelte has nice shops. The spacious, sunny terrace overlooks the Drenthe landscape and nature reserve Mantinger Bos & Weiden.

We serve an extensive breakfast with fresh orange juice, warm rolls, various types of toppings and jams from our own garden or region, Drents egg, yogurt, fresh fruit and coffee or tea.
We offer the possibility to dine Table d'Hote on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Due to the current corona measures, dinner will be prepared for you on a trolley. Our dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients. We would therefore like to hear before 15:00 on the previous day whether you wish to make use of the opportunity to dine. Of course we are happy to serve you our own drinks with dinner.
