The border runs across the store (the seaman). A memorial board tells us that a café used to be located here with the fitting name 't Hoekske. The name refers to the corner of Stationstraat and Nieuwstraat but also to the characteristic corner that exists here in the border. The café owner had previously painted a border line on the wall as advertising, but at the official determination of the border line in 1995, it turned out he was half a meter off. In the café, the same border line had also been applied to the ceiling and the interior walls. This border line was probably wrong too. Now the internal border line has disappeared.
