Tower from the 14th century. The then Catholic village church was dedicated to St. Michael. The later name was Brinkkerk.
Reformed Church; tower brick building, lower part late Romanesque with recesses and arched friezes, upper part late Gothic. Low XIV choir. Interior rococo funerary monument for craftsman Balthasar de Leeuw 1754. Men's pews and pulpit. (Tower of the Church is owned by the municipality of Houten). Mechanical turret clock, probably 1886, later fitted with an unprotected synchronous motor.
