Nestled in the woods, on the road from Wintelre to Vessem, not far from “Het Groot Meer”, lies “Bosschuur De Meren”. Well… a forest barn! More like a forest villa. It was once a barn for forest workers, which was transformed into a nature experience center. A large group of volunteers worked on this. Otherwise, the barn would have been demolished. A few years after the old barn was renovated, it was completely destroyed by a fire. A new (old) barn was rebuilt on the same spot.
