In the hamlet of Billinghuizen, between Euverem and Beutenaken, is the Groenendaalsmolen. This was an overshot mill and got its water from the Gulp via a reservoir. Next to this grain mill were the house and a roastery. The mill fell into such disrepair in 1871 that everything was demolished and rebuilt with the same materials: brick and marl.
In addition, a barn, stables and bakehouse were built for agricultural activities. In 1891 the mill was rebuilt and enlarged. In 1951 the mill burned down. Despite repair work, the fire left its mark. For example, due to irreparable cracks in the running gear, the grinding mechanism could not be overloaded. In the 1970s, the mill was converted into a residence.
