Wickenburgh is a family estate whose history dates back to the year 1300. Since 1741, the estate has been owned by various members of the Wttewaall family.
The dovecote at Wickenburgh dates from the 16th century. The right to keep pigeons was reserved for the nobility and owners of castles and estates. This tower was built especially for keeping pigeons. It is built of various sizes of brick and is covered by a zinc octagonal spire crowned by a copper wind vane.
On the right side of the originally 17th century coach house used to be the carriages and horses of the family. To the left of the coach house were two dwellings; one for the coachman and his family and one for the gardener.
Since 2003, the family has been committed to restoring the historic garden and historic buildings, restoring the estate to its original state (from around 1860).
