B&B Het Oelenest

Bed and Breakfast Het Oelenest is located in a farm from the end of 1800 in the heart of Drenthe, Hooghalen. In 2016 we started converting part of the farm into a comfortable Bed and Breakfast, with two spacious rooms. Our Bed and Breakfast has been open since June 2017. Each room has a flat-screen TV. Each has a seating area for your convenience. You will find an electric kettle and coffee machine in the room. Each room has a private bathroom fitted with a bath or shower. For your comfort, you will find bathrobes and slippers.

In the sitting room and in good weather on the terrace you can use a breakfast with oven-fresh rolls, egg, cup of coffee / tea etc. We can take a diet into account if you inform us in advance.
After a day of shopping, cycling, exploring the area or perhaps having been at work, you can relax here to read a book, watch television or play a game.
There is a fridge with drinks, which can be used for a small fee. You can also store your own consumptions in the refrigerator.

Our Bed and Breakfast is located in a beautiful, central location in the middle of Hooghalen and is ideal for exploring the area, celebrating holidays, visiting an event or for business appointments. You will enjoy a wonderful stay with us in peace and privacy! There is ample parking on site and we have a charging point for your car and bike. You can also store your bicycle, car or motorcycle in a closed shed.

In the village there are a number of eateries, a supermarket and an artisan bakery with coffee and lunch menu.
