The Groenendalsberg is a climb unknown to many, starting in the valley of the river Gulp near the hamlet of Euverem (near Hoeve Groenendaal). The road is forbidden to vehicular traffic. Almost at the top you cross the Oude Luikerweg and the road climbs another 100 meters but now on an unpaved surface. If you want to continue cycling on paved roads, you can turn left at the junction of the Oude Luikerweg on a narrow asphalted cycle path towards Terlinden (this cycle path goes up false flat), or turn right on the Oude Luikerweg (asphalted and here just a road of normal width) descend to the hamlet of Euverem.
