A healing seaside resort
In the southwest, near the border with Flanders, you will find Cadzand [Kezand]. You cannot go further south along the Dutch coast. Nature Reserve Het Zwin ensures that you can enjoy the sea and the beach without limit. Did you know that old, fossilized shark teeth can still be found here?

If you visit Cadzand, you have a choice. You can visit the authentic village inland or choose the coastal version: Cadzand-Bad.

Cadzand-Bad
Since 2014, Cadzand-Bad has shared the title of Healing Seaside Resort with Domburg and Noordwijk, being the only Dutch coastal town to hold this designation. This means that the clean sea air and the quality of the beaches and seawater have a proven beneficial effect on health. That's a nice bonus! Foodies are treated to culinary highlights in Cadzand-Bad.

Cadzand-Village
A bit inland lies Cadzand-Village. A recognizable medieval ring village with a Gothic church dating from the early fourteenth century in its center. The church and the charming old houses around it are defining for the village's character. As you enter Cadzand-Village, the windmill that you can visit stands proudly.
