The lowest point in the Netherlands is located in a meadow in the Zuidplaspolder northeast of Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel. It is situated at a height of 6.76 meters below sea level. At the edge of this meadow along the A20 highway stands the monument for the lowest point in the Netherlands. The base of this monument corresponds to the level of the lowest point.
