Cauwers Inlaag

Description

Cawers Inlaag is the name of the lake, it is a wonderful place for bird watching as well as being a natural space under the protection of the Natura 2000 Network. This space is an aerial biological corridor for seabirds, so they can feed and nest in two different areas without human intervention.
On the right side behind the pond, there is an artificial breakwater, in order to protect the area against strong tides. Although it is also a perfect place for fishermen, preferably during the low sea, where you can find mostly flat fish, eels, sea bass, Gul (sea trout) and needlefish.
