Pinetum Blijdenstein is a pinetum in Hilversum, founded in 1898. A pinetum is a specialized arboretum, a conifer garden, with a collection of conifers and other gymnosperms. Pinetum Blijdenstein has a collection of about 400 coniferous trees. In addition, the pinetum also provides shelter for over a hundred species of rhododendrons and a number of Ephedra and Cycas. The area of this botanical garden is 2 hectares.
