Wolfsdreuvik is a municipal monument in the Smithuyserbos southeast of Hilversum. It is located south of Soestdijkerstraatweg and east of the A27. The name Wolfsdreuvik means Wolfsheuvel and is already mentioned on the map from 1539.
The surrounding Smithuyserbos is bordered to the northeast by the Lage Vuurscheweg and to the east by the Hollandsloot. The forest is located south of the Hilversums Wasmeer and east of De Zuid and the Erfgooiersbos. The forest was named since 1911 after one of the first owners of the forest: Pieter Johannes Smithuysen. This Amsterdam tobacco broker bought the area in 1838. The forest was restored and rejuvenated by owner Bouvy.
