The Resistance Memorial Haarlem is a war memorial on the Jan Gijzenbrug in Haarlem in memory of the fallen of the resistance in the Second World War.The monument was designed by Theo van Reijn and unveiled in 1950. It depicts a grieving couple of parents with a wreath in their hand. The monument is located on the spot where eight resistance fighters were executed during the Second World War. The monument is placed southwest of the bridge. The execution site was south of the bridge, on the other side of the Rijksstraatweg. The names of those executed are inscribed on the left and right sides of the pedestal.
