The village of Noordgouwe is a nationally protected village view in Noordgouwe in the Dutch province of Zeeland. The procedure for designation was initiated on November 4, 1987. The area was definitively designated on March 14, 1996. The protected view covers an area of 7.5 hectares.
Buildings that fall within a protected view do not automatically receive the status of a protected monument. However, the municipality will adjust the zoning plan to regulate new developments in the area. The view protection focuses on the urban planning and cultural-historical appreciation of an area and aims to secure its future functioning.
