The Suykerberg was founded on September 1, 1993. They had a 9-hole course and a modest clubhouse at another location. According to the zoning plan, houses were to be built, so a new course was laid out at another location. Until the end of 2007, the old course could still be played. In early 2007, the court in 's-Hertogenbosch decided that De Haenen could construct a new course. Plans were made with golf course architect Gerard Jol, and in 2008 the 18-hole course was opened.
