Borgvliet Castle was a castle and seat of a lordship, which was located in the village of Borgvliet, located south of present-day Bergen op Zoom. The castle was located on the site of the current intersection of the Laan van Hildernisse-Zuid and the Laan van Everswaard
The lordship was first mentioned in a document from 1214, which mentioned Mr. Witto de Burchfliet. The lords of Borgvliet were direct fiefs of the Duke of Brabant. It was not until 1481 that the fief was sold to the Lord of Bergen op Zoom.
