The Ladder is a monument made for the former concentration camp Kamp Amersfoort by the artist Armando. The monument was unveiled in 1994 and is located on the corner of Laan 1914 and Doornseweg in Amersfoort. It is a work of art that is meant to be reminiscent of a bronze ladder. The artwork is 14 meters high. The ladder symbolizes an escape route, comfort and the thoughts of the prisoners.
